It’s not news that coffee has many health benefits. In addition to its energy-boosting power, studies have linked coffee to a lower risk of type 2 diabetes, depression, obesity, heart and liver conditions, and more. All of this is super awesome because over 1 billion people drink coffee every day!
The latest in coffee health science, out of the University of Verona, is focused on espresso coffee, specifically, and concerns something called tau. Tau is a brain protein that plays a crucial role in maintaining brain structure and stability in healthy individuals. In the case of Alzheimer's disease, tau proteins clump together and form tangles, leading to dementia symptoms such as memory loss and cognitive decline. Consuming espresso or strong coffee has been found to prevent the formation of these harmful tangles. Sweet!

Here is the new science data from the University of Verona, suggesting that drinking coffee will help protect against neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's disease.

We had to add that while organic coffee is 20-30% more expensive, it is significantly better for you in terms of the lack pesticides.
Not a coffee or tea drinker? Weirdo. Just kidding! And don’t fret: there are a ton of new alternatives such as mushroom coffee (not psychedelic) that can aid in energy, reduce inflammation, fight aging, and increase anti-oxidants.
